After you receive this alert, the Pro Portfolio will buy 69 shares of Boeing (BA) at or near $195. Following the trade, we will will own 1,069 BA shares, accounting for roughly 3.35% of the Pro Portfolio’s assets.

Following several favorable back-to-back developments, including the Society of Professional Engineering Employees in Aerospace union members voting to accept Boeing’s contract offer that will avoid a potential strike, we are making another small purchase of BA shares for the Portfolio.

Also influencing our decision are several recent wins for the company’s Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business and September commercial announcements from Korean Air, Lufthansa, Turkish Airlines, Biman Bangladesh Airlines and Ethiopian Airlines for a total of Boeing 244 aircraft.

We recognize the delayed certification for Boeing’s 737 MAX 10 aircraft due to software issues will likely impact delivery expectations, but that is also likely reflected in the share price decline to current levels from over $240 in early August. In other words, the shares have been beaten down enough that the bad news has been priced in.

As we make this move, we will reiterate our $175 checkpoint but maintain our Two rating. The catalyst that will lead us to revisit that rating will be Boeing’s September delivery figures, which should be out in mid-October. The company is set to report its Q3 2026 results on October 27.

Connecting the dots, the averted Boeing strike should also take some pressure off shares of Eaton (ETN) and the expectations for its Aerospace segment that drives ~15% of its overall revenue and operating profit.
