The most active ETFs are the funds trading the highest dollar volume in today's regular session. Because ETFs track indexes, sectors, bonds, commodities, and factors, this list shows where money is flowing across the whole market rather than into a single company.
Ranking by dollar volume (price × shares traded) rather than share count keeps the list weighted toward the funds moving the most capital, instead of low-priced funds that trade many shares for little value. Click any ticker to open its fund page for the chart and key facts.
ETFs are ranked by regular-session dollar volume (price × shares traded). The universe is US-listed ETFs with at least $100 million in assets under management and roughly $1 million in average daily dollar volume; leveraged and inverse funds are excluded. Rankings refresh on a 60-second server snapshot; displayed quotes update every few seconds while the session is open.
Most-active ETFs are the funds trading the greatest dollar volume during the session. Dollar volume multiplies price by the number of shares traded, so it highlights where the largest amount of money is changing hands.
Dollar volume avoids skewing the list toward very low-priced funds that can trade huge share counts while representing little actual value. It keeps the ranking focused on the most economically significant activity.
Leveraged and inverse funds reset daily and are built for short holding periods, so they move two or three times as much as the market on an ordinary day. Including them would fill the list with the same handful of products and hide what is happening in conventional funds.
Rankings are recalculated on a 60-second snapshot, and the prices shown refresh every few seconds while the session is open.
