Earlier in his career, he practiced real estate law at Schottenstein, Zox & Dunn in Columbus and Sidley & Austin in Chicago. Neil earned an MBA, summa cum laude, from The Ohio State University’s Fisher College of Business, where he ranked at the top of his class, and a JD, magna cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where he was elected to the Order of the Coif. He also holds an AB in Public Policy and Economics, cum laude, from Duke University.

Neil Sethi is a macro and markets columnist whose work focuses on the intersection of the economy, corporate earnings, interest rates, Federal Reserve policy, market positioning, sentiment, seasonality, breadth, and equity-market structure. He is the former author of Neil’s Newsletter, where he used a data-heavy, chart-driven framework to help investors make sense of the crosscurrents driving markets.

Before joining TheStreet Pro, Neil built his newsletter from a daily friends-and-family markets note into a widely followed market and economic commentary product. He is also co-managing member of Sethi Associates in Columbus, Ohio, where he oversees financial, legal, and administrative matters for his family’s real estate and investment firm.
