Our own Chris Versace, manager of TheStreet Pro's Portfolio, took the week's big moves as a chance to lighten up on four holdings. This is what great portfolio managers do. They buy solid stocks and then lock in profits on the way up. Chris is still bullish on these names, but they had reached overweight status in the portfolio. With some of the gains, he bought META shares.
How big were these gains?
In Bank of America BAC, we made 57% since March of 2023.
Dutch Bros BROS earned us 63% since this past August!
Morgan Stanley MS locked in 64% since last December
And two lots of Marvell Technology MRVL gained 125% and 133%.

And Then There Was Axon
Chris added shares of Axon Enterprise AXON between May 2023 and August 2024. And he did pretty well with it! In fact, Portfolio's AXON shares gained between 86% and 196%! Chris liquidated the entire position on Friday, raising about $140,000 in cash for the portfolio. It's good to take profits and good to have cash on hand to take advantage of the next good idea.
