Cyber stocks were on a roll leading into October but recently have fallen off that path. The Cybersecurity ETF (CIBR) has pulled back to a recent breakout zone. We think this area of $98 to $101 is a good spot to add shares of CIBR. This ETF holds the biggest and best names in the sector, like CrowdStrike (CRWD), Palo Alto Networks (PANW), Fortinet (FTNT), Broadcom (AVGO) and Cisco (CSCO). CIBR has been a strong performer in 2026, with a series of higher highs and higher lows with bullish volume trends.
Speaking of volume, notice the big selling bar that hit last Friday, October 16. That was some serious distribution and quite possibly been a flush out of short-term bulls. These sorts of moves present some great opportunities to add on the pullbacks, that has been the case for months in CIBR.

But, with this recent turndown the technicals have also rolled over. The MACD is confirmed on a sell signal, candles are amber color, which is neutral the money flow at the bottom has turned negative. Momentum is also stalling (stochastics, pane five), so there is not much help for the bulls at this point. But as mentioned, the current spot is one where buyers have been aggressive in the past. You can see the purple uptrend line remains in tact.
We like CIBR in TheStreet Pro Portfolio and rate it a one, buy at anytime.
