| Symbol | Transaction Type | # Shares Traded | Recent Price $ | Shares Owned After Trade | % Portfolio |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| BA | Buy | 89 | 215.76 | 747 | 2.6 |
| NSLR | Buy | 1,115 | 10.15 | 20,965 | 3.5 |
After you receive this Alert, the Pro Portfolio will make the following trades:
— Buy 89 shares of Boeing (BA) at or near $216.50. Following the trade, we will own 747 BA shares, accounting for roughly 2.65% of the Pro Portfolio’s assets.
— Buy 1,115 shares of Neostellar Capital (NSLR) at or near $10.25. Following the trade, we will own 20,965 NSRL shares, accounting for roughly 3.5% of the Pro Portfolio’s assets.
With NSLR’s relative strength index (RSI) level of 27.34 coming into this week, we are taking advantage of the oversold condition to build up the Portfolio’s position size. The shares have come under pressure as Cerebras (CBRA) and SpaceX (SPCX) have fallen below their IPO offering prices, raising questions over the timing of OpenAI’s expected IPO. Understandable, but that also overlooks the other 85% of Neostellar’s investment Portfolio.
Turning to Boeing, the Farnborough International Airshow is already delivering new order wins for the company, but signs point to Boeing continuing to inch up production levels. That and the margin leverage that should accompany it is a key area of focus for us with Boeing. Supporting our thinking are reports that Boeing is exploring increasing production of its 737 aircraft family well beyond the peak 63-jet monthly rate that it has publicly disclosed. Some reports point to a 70-jet monthly pace, others closer to the 75-jet monthly target for 2027 that Airbus (EADSY) has set.
This raises questions about the supply chain’s ability to ramp, and that will be an area of focus during this week’s Farnborough Airshow. Laying the groundwork for positive news on that front, Larry Culp, Chief Executive Officer of GE Aerospace (GE), noted that demand for the 787 continues to grow and that GE is ready and able to meet that demand for the widebody engines. Already, the number of deliveries year-on-year is up 30% in the second quarter.
As we make these moves, we will maintain our $190 checkpoint for BA shares but reset the one we have for NSLR shares to $9.
