Rocket Lab Price Targets Are Falling, but We’re Making Another Trade Today

On Thursday, after my unexpected but necessary and lengthy time away from actively managing the $10,000 Portfolio and the portfolio’s poor recent performance, we took several steps to try to stabilize the book without running cash levels down to nothing. Remember, we do not use margin here to initiate or increase exposure to long positions, so we are often put in the position of robbing Peter to pay Paul.

We also publish just once a day and must act after the information provided is public, so there are several restrictions. That said, the performance has been undeniably ugly.

This morning, readers will note that there has been a ton of analyst activity in names that are currently part of this book. Take a good look at the professional coverage of Rocket Lab (RKLB). A lot of price target reductions there. We were already below $100 on our target and may have to cut that number again soon.
