New Features on TheStreet Pro

What’s new at TheStreet Pro? Lots.

While Sarge, Dougie, Chris, Helene, and the rest of the team have been hard at work to bring you the best investment commentary and ideas, the dev team has been focused on new capabilities that will make accessing the content even easier.

We’re just getting started, so I wanted to share a few things.

Login Problems

First, let’s talk logins. We’ve solved the bulk of the login issues. Some of you are still having problems, and I’m sorry for that. We’re pushing Arena (who still controls logins) to let us bring back passwords. In other cases, we find that there are small things our support team can help with. So, give TyJuan a shout; he knows how to get you logged in so you stay logged in. His number is: 1-866-321-8726

New Tech from TipRanks Here in TheStreet Pro

Artificial Intelligence That Makes Human Intelligence Smarter

Love AI or hate AI, it’s here to stay. Either way, used properly, it can be a tool to help you become more efficient. So, we’ve tapped into TipRanks’ own Samuel AI in order to help you get answers more quickly.

How do you get started?

Well, the AI button is on the upper right of the Pro navigation bar labeled “Ask.”

And you can ask it anything. My favorite “asks” include:

  • What is Sarge saying about the market this week?
  • Summarize Doug Kass’ thoughts on stock market valuations
  • Is Helene bullish on the market? What are her new ideas?

Just don’t ask it what to eat for dinner. It’s a computer and just wants to eat your spare electricity.

To use it, click the “Ask” button and write your question in the “Assistant” pop-up window.

The best part is that you’re not just limited to asking questions based on articles written by TheStreet Pro’s team. You can also ask questions about stocks and ETFs and get back TipRanks data, including general information like price and market cap, as well as summaries of relevant articles by TheStreet Pro’s team.

For example, when I asked it “What do I need to know about Tesla stock?” it returned links and summaries to five articles by TheStreet Pro’s contributors, as well as TipRanks Analyst Consensus and Price Target, plus a list on “What to Watch” and more.

Try it. Just ask “What do I need to know about…”

AI meets Human Intelligence to make you better informed.

New and Improved Search Functionality

I won’t get into the nuts and bolts here but earlier this year, Dougie told me that it was virtually impossible to find articles that he’d written. And he was right. With the migration to TipRank’s tech stack, we had yet to replicate the pretty basic search engine from the Arena days.

Now, you can search for articles on stocks, articles by an author, or articles on a topic. It works really well and beats what we had in the past hands down.

To use it, just click into the box on the upper right part of the navigation that says “Search Symbols & News.”

More to Come

That’s it for now, but the team is working hard on even bigger things.

Please play around with the new search and AI functionality and let me know what you think.
