We’re proud to share with you that Real Money, Action Alerts PLUS, and Top Stocks have been streamlined into a single product called TheStreet Pro!

This means that you can find all of our great investment and trading ideas in one place, under one subscription. For many of you, this offers access to new content. For others, it’s simply having access to all of the content in one place.

First, why did we do this? Over the last 18 months, we’ve upgraded from a legacy infrastructure that was outdated, difficult to maintain, and prevented us from innovating. We moved Top Stocks first, then Real Money, and now AAP. Combining them into a single product made sense and allows us to offer a single subscription for all of our great market analyses.

Let’s take a look at the changes.

TheStreet Pro

TheStreet Pro is the new parent and all of the ideas and analyses will live under that heading. It’s like Real Money, but with AAP and Top Stocks articles added.

The Pro home page is organized to get you to the answers you need, quickly. In addition to quick article links for the Doug's Daily Diary, Portfolio, Trade Ideas, and Market Commentary, we offer featured commentary, hand picked by our team of editors.

Doug Kass’ popular Daily Diary is a key part of Pro. If you’re new to the Diary, it’s where hedge fund manager Doug Kass posts his trading ideas and market updates. He’s normally online from early in the morning through the end of the trading day and has attracted an impressive community of sophisticated traders within the comments section.

Helene Meisler's Top Stocks is now a column, listed alongside our Small Cap coverage. Both can be found under Columns.

Other content, like Bruce Kamich’s popular technical analysis, is available under Latest.

Don’t forget to peruse the Authors tab, too. It provides quick access to articles by your favorites as well as an easy way to learn about your new favorite authors.

You can also Follow authors to receive an email or text message every time they post. The follow button appears on every article page and in that author's bio.

For example, to receive an email every time Helene Meisler writes an article, click the follow button in her bio.

TheStreet Pro Portfolio

Action Alerts PLUS, or AAP, is now called TheStreet Pro Portfolio. Chris Versace and the AAP team will continue to manage the portfolio and write the same great content as before. But there are some changes besides the name:

  • Again, AAP is now called Portfolio.
  • The old “Portfolio” web page is now called “Holdings”. Be sure to look there to see what Portfolio is invested in and what trades have been made.
  • There’s a forum! You can join in the conversation with the Portfolio team and other subscribers.

More information can be found here.

Top Stocks

As mentioned above, Helene Meisler's Top Stocks is now a column within TheStreet Pro. Helene Meisler will continue to write her popular analysis of market sentiment after each trading day. As a column, Top Stocks will have a much wider distribution among all Pro members. On the home page, Top Stocks will typically appear under Market Commentary as soon as it's published. You can also click Follow from within a Top Stocks article to receive an email or text alert every time Top Stocks is published. To find Top Stocks, go to the navigation bar, click Columns, and then click Top Stocks. Or bookmark this page.

Community

We’ve added commenting to all articles as well as a new Forum section in Portfolio. Pro authors and TheStreet Pro staff will be active in the community to help answer questions and to get the conversation started! If you have a comment for a specific person, just type @ followed by their community name, like "@JMesh". This will send them a notification so that they’ll respond more quickly.

If you have other questions, our customer service representatives remain available through the usual channels.

We’re proud of TheStreet Pro and hope you find it to be a valuable resource.
