In today’s Daily Rundown video, we shared the events that we’ll be focusing on this week and why we’ll be paying close attention to earnings from Nike NKE, McCormick MKC and ConAgra CAG. Comments on the consumer will be front and center as will Nike’s about foreign exchange and China.

Our goal in parsing those comments will be twofold. Obviously, their insights on the consumer heading into the holiday shopping season will be noteworthy. We’ll also be collecting them along with last week’s results from Micron MU, Lennar LEN, KB Home KBH, Jefferies JEF and Costco COST, as well as next week’s learning from JPMorgan JPM, Wells Fargo WFC and Fastenal FAST to get ready for what the September quarter earnings season is likely to bring. We’ll also be watching closely for earnings pre-announcements, both positive and negative, being mindful of those implications.

That’s right, even as we’re about to shut the book on September and 3Q 2024, the quarterly earnings gauntlet is right around the corner. To help you get ready for that, we’re sharing a list of tentative reporting data for the Portfolio over the next several weeks. Because it touches on multiple holdings in the Portfolio, we’ve also included the reporting date for Taiwan Semiconductor TSM.

As these dates firm, we plan on updating the list below:

October 8 – PepsiCo PEP

October 15 – Bank of America BAC

October 16 – Elevance Health ELV, Morgan Stanley MS

October 17 – Taiwan Semiconductor TSM

October 22 – Alphabet GOOGL, Lockheed Martin LMT, Microsoft MSFT

October 23 – Meta Platforms META, United Rentals URI

October 24 – Apple AAPL, Amazon AMZN, Labcorp LH, Mastercard MA

October 28 – Waste Management WM

October 29 – Eaton Corp ETN

October 31 – Builders FirstSource BLDR, Universal Display OLED

November 6 – Dutch Bros BROS, Qualcomm QCOM

November 7 – Axon AXON, Trade Desk TTD, Vulcan Materials VMC
