We are seeing a sigh of relief in the market following the November Consumer Price Index (CPI) report that did not come in hotter than expected, instead matching market expectations. While the November numbers don't change the fact that inflation remains sticky, the figures have popped expectations for a December Fed rate cut next week to more than 95%. Along with being on the cusp of the seasonally strongest part of December, we are putting some capital to work in positions that have traded off of late, offering as we like to say a favorable risk-to-reward entry point.

The combination of these trades leaves the portfolio with just over 10% in cash, which gives us room to opportunistically pick up shares of other holdings in the coming weeks. It also gives us room to bring in a new position or two as we get ready for 2025.

(Please note that we are looking to execute these trades at or near the share price mentioned above. Once the trade is completed, subscribers can see the trade's executed price here. Be sure to click on Closed Trade Gain/Loss and toggle the chart to sort by Purchase Date.)
