Upbeat Ahead of the Numbers

Here's what we'll be listening for when this energy name reports its fourth-quarter earnings results after the close.

Model portfolio name Lime Energy (LIME) is set toannounce its fourth-quarter results after today's close oftrading. This Alert is a preview of the company's numbersand we are not recommending any trades for the model portfolio.

Lime is expected to earn $0.18 a share in the quarter, upfrom $0.08 a year ago, on $48 million of revenue. Investorswill also likely pay close attention to how many new ordersthe company booked during the quarter and what its backlogwas heading into 2012.

On the call, we'll be listening for a business update frommanagement, including what areas where Lime is seeingorganic growth. We are also hoping to hear details on any2012 guidance from the company.

With the stock currently changing hands around $3.40, wereiterate our Two rating on the company ahead of thenumbers. We maintain that the stock is attractive topurchase below $3.25 and that Lime can ultimately trade backup toward the mid-single digits.
