China names have been all over the place of late, but for the most part there is some good potential. Among Chinese stocks with a good outlook is Sina.com (SINA) .
This stock was pounded mercilessly twice in the last six months: once in a slow, ugly move down (in December) and the other time in a smashing one-day fall (in February).
Those short-lived bearish moments did not last long. As is usual with this market, stocks bottom and come right back up again.
Recent turnover for Sina has been decent, as it bounces off a double bottom, but it is still in a range.
However, good volume this past week is notable, and the moving average convergence divergence (MACD) is turning up and crossing over for a modest buy signal. Above $74 would be a breakout.
