Monitise Update
- For the first time in a while I am seeing some good offerings being lifted by buyers in Monitise.

I am about done with my Surprise List (though I have a lot of editing ahead of me) -- how about some love from subscribers?
In the comments section, I would love to see a couple of "probable improbables" that I might incorporate in my Surprise List.
Watching High Yield
- I am continually watching high yield.
Today the SPDR Barclays High Yield Bond ETF (JNK) and the iShares iBoxx High Yield Corporate Bond ETF (HYG) are modestly lower.
Monitise
- Attachments may be improving.
The only long position I have recently been steadily adding to has been Monitise (MONIF).
As expected, tax selling (and maybe the final sales of Visa's holdings) have weighed on the shares.
In the meantime, I am getting some anecdotal readings that attachments (read: subscriptions) might be improving relative to my low expectations.
I will keep you all up to date as I learn more.
Mixed Morning
- China and India under pressure.
Futures are mixed to slightly higher and global equity markets are mixed.
I would mention that China (-5%) and India (-2%) markets have had been pressured in the last 48 hours. (I don't believe I have heard a word of this in the media).
Short and to the Point
- Making my list, checking it twice.
I am trying to put together my Surprises for 2015 list today (and over the balance of the week), so, given the half day, I plan to make my posts concise this morning.
